Project Overview

This project focuses on designing, configuring, and evaluating a distributed computing cluster built from eight physical servers. Using OpenMPI, the cluster aggregates the processing power of all nodes to run parallel workloads and demonstrate real-world distributed computing concepts.

Performance will be benchmarked using the “John the Ripper” (JtR Jumbo) password-cracking suite and compared with the capabilities of a non-clustered GPU system. Following the experiment, the team will host project documentation through this GitHub Pages site.
